Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2005, age 75 years. Leonard was born June 2, 1930 in Bridgeport Township, the son of the late Louis and Lillian (Ludlum) Scharrer. He married Dorothy Schultz on March 31, 1951 and she survives him. Leonard was a farmer in the Hemlock area all of his life. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Hemlock. He served in the U. S. Army. ... He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Last. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2005 at W. L. Case & Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Rev. Andrew Backus will officiate and per Leonard's wishes, cremation will follow.
