Hans C. Heiden, 50, of 116 Gallup, died suddenly Saturday morning. A son of the late Henry and Freda Hagemeister Heiden, he was born in Germany June 3, 1905 and came to the United States at the age of 18.
Mr. Heiden was married to the former Pearl Bennett on June 11, 1934. The couple made their home in Mount Clemens. He was employed at Selfridge Air Force Base. Besides his wife he is survived by three children, Elmer of Emmett,
Mrs. Marjorie Gentiue of Massachusetts, Mrs. Elizabeth Rose of Grosse Pointe, and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, the Rev. Wilfred J. Junke, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church, officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Grove Cemetery.

states he was born in Glashagen Germany on June 3 1905. He was married June
12 1926 to Emma Harms Heiden at Mt. Clemens. Emma was born at Detroit on
Feb. 23 1907. He has two children: Hilda Heiden b June 11 1927 Mt. Clemens
and Elmer Heiden b Dec 1 1928 Mt. Clemens. His last foreign residence was
Glashagen, Germany. He emigrated to the United States from Hamburg
entering at New York City on July 25 1923 on the vessel SS Thuringia.

Ill since Saturday, Mrs. Hans Heiden, 25, died yesterday at noon at her
home, 44 Yeamans street death due to a complication of diseases.
Prior to her marriage Mrs. Heiden was Miss Emma Harms, daughter of Mrs.
Earnest Harms of Huron avenue who survives her. Mrs. Heiden is also
survived by the widower and three little children, Hilda, 5, Elmer 3 and
Loraine, five months; four brothers and three sisters, Elmer, Earnest,
Arthur and Conrad Harms of Mt. Clemens, and Mrs. Elsie Schott, Mrs. Harold
Gohl and Mrs. Moritz Hildinger, all of Mt. Clemens.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the home
at 44 Yeamans street and will be private, the Rev. L. A. Wissmueller to
officiate.
Burial in Clinton Grove.

Mrs. Pearl M. Miller died today at Mount Clemens General Hospital.
She was 52.
Born in Galesburg, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Homer and Velma
Bennett. She and her husband George J. lived in the Mount Clemens area the
past 30 years. The home address is 53 Clair.
Mrs. Miller was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies
Auxiliary.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Gentilo
of Westfield, Mass., Mrs. Elizabeth Rose, Detroit, four grandchildren and
the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Kenneth (Jean) McGeorge of Mount
Clemens, Mrs. Milford Kerry of Flint, Mrs. Roy Sebert of Armada, John of Oak
Park, Homer of Mount Clemens, Lawrence of Wayne, Clarence of Tucson, Ariz.,
and Capt. Charels Bennett of Aiken, S.C.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday from the D.N. Cooley Funeral Home,
140 S. Gratiot, with the Rev. Wilfred J. Junke officiating.
Burial will be
in Clinton Grove Cemetery.

sther Engelking of Palatine for 63 years Services for Esther Engelking, 89, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, at The Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton St., Arlington Heights, where she will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the services. Interment will be in Randhill Park Cemetery, Arlington Heights. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Born May 18, 1918, in Chicago, she died Monday, June 25, 2007, in Arlington Heights. Esther was an original telephone operator for MA Bell and retired in 1977. She was a member of the Pioneers. She was also a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church since 1938, where she was united in marriage to Harvey. Esther and Marie Hertel founded the hot lunch program at Immanuel Lutheran School. She also taught drivers' education to the seniors at the Palatine Township Senior Center. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Elaine (David) English (nee Engelking); grandchildren, Kelly (Walter) Weynschenk, Jodie (David) Boeldt and Michael (Julie) Loeber; great-grandchildren, Jordan Weynschenk, Sara and Kaitlyn Boeldt, and Joshua, Lauren and Alexander Loeber; sister, Elizabeth (Herb) Siemers; and brother, Arnold Schulmeister. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Harvey H. Engelking; her daughter, Leona Loeber; granddaughter, Sharon Loeber; siblings, Bertha Roest, Bernhardt Schulmeister, Lorraine Schulmeister, Dorothea Ehrke, Raymond, Hans and Lester Schulmeister, Anna Bitter; and her parents, Hans and Elise (nee Krecker) Schulmeister. 1273. Dorothea SCHULMEISTER

McHENRY – Dorothea "Dottie" Schulmeister Ehrke, 78, of Hanover Park, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at her daughter's home in McHenry.
She was born April 16, 1927, to Hans and Emma Schulmeister.
She was raised with her large family in Norwood Park.
She worked for many years as a school-bus driver, first for Davidsmeyer Bus Co. in Elk Grove, and then for Brevard County Transportation in Merritt Island, Fla., where she lived from 1976 to 1994.
She was a proud member, former Chaplain, and past president of the Womens Auxiliary VFW Post 2149 in Wood Dale.
Survivors include three children, Elroy "Butch" (Kim) Ehrke of Elk Grove, Donald Ehrke of Hanover Park and Darrellynn (Larry) Hanes; three grandchildren, Nicole Ehrke, and Donald and Nicholas Hanes; two sisters, Esther (the late Harvey) Engleking of Arlington Heights and Elizabeth (Herb) Siemers of Schiller Park; a brother, Arnold (the late Lee) Schulmeister of Antioch; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; four brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road at Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect. The service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
