Louis John Bannow, 88, of Macomb Township, died Sunday, March 13 at the Shelby Nursing Center, Shelby Township. He was born on July 25, 1916 in Macomb Township.
On March 6, 1943, Louis married Grace Elizabeth Weber at Immanuel Lutheran Parsonage, Macomb Township.
Mr. Bannow retired in 1973 from the Chrysler Corp. where he was a metal finisher.
He was a lifelong farmer and an avid Detroit Tiger baseball fan. He also enjoyed playing cards with friends and family members.
Mr. Bannow is survived by his wife, Grace (Weber); daughters, Barb (Chuck) Klonke of Macomb Township and Kristine (Paul) Gerardy of Macomb Township; grandchildren, David (Laura) Klonke, Beth Klonke and Michael Gerardy; great-grandson, Max Klonke. Mr. Bannow was predeceased by his brothers, Charles and George Bannow and his parents Louis J. and Clara (nee Rewoldt) Bannow.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 47120 Romeo Plank in Macomb Township. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Macomb Township.
Visitation is at the Hauss Funeral Home, 47477 Romeo Plank (north of 21 Mile Road), Macomb Township from 3-8 p.m. today and 3-8 p.m. Tuesday. Additional visitation Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service.

1328. SHIRLEY Ann Marie REWOLDT
Shirley Ann Miller, 79, of Clinton Township, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, in Church of Christ Nursing Home, Clinton Township. She was born March 17, 1927, in Highland Park.
Mrs. Miller married Clarence J. Miller on Nov. 1, 1947, in Mount Clemens. She lived in Clinton Township, Harrison Township and briefly in St. Clair Shores.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton Township, where she served on the finance committee, was active in the Women's League and the Golden Years, and participated as a Stevens minister. She also was a member of the Clinton Township Seniors.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Kathy) Miller of St. Clair Shores; daughters, Joan (Gary) Grossman of Fort Wayne, Ind., Sharon (Steven) LaMontagne of Lenox Township and Robyn (James) Phillips of Flint; and seven grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence, Feb. 28, 1996, in Warren; parents, Herbert and Helen Rewoldt; and brother, Herbert Rewoldt.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 38900 Harper (south of Crocker Boulevard), Clinton Township, with the Rev. Kenneth Wise officiating. Private entombment will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township.
Visitation is 2-9 p.m. Friday at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Ave., Mount Clemens. Additional visitation is 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
